It is important for the Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) to develop and enhance partnerships with organisations that have an interest in the Greater Tumen Region and Northeast Asia. In particular, GTI aims to cultivate new partnerships with institutions that have the commitment and capacity to work at the regional level and that can contribute directly to promote the region or enhance implementation of the GTI activities. The Tumen Secretariat has developed mutually beneficial ties with a number of national institutions, UN agencies, non-governmental organisations and private sectors in the region and internationally.
