GENERAL INFORMATION NOTE
FOR PARTICIPANTS
1. Venue:
The TRADP Investment Forum will be held on 2-4 September 2005 at Changchun International Conference & Exhibition Center in Changchun, China.

2. Air Tickets:
Given that the First China Jilin / Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo will be held in Changchun from 2 – 6 September, it is highly recommended tomake the flight reservations to Changchun as soon possible due to the peak season.
3. Hotel:
UNDP/Tumen Secretariat has blocked some rooms at Nobel Hotel and Changchun Overseas Chinese Hotel respectively. Should any participants want to stay in these two hotels, please fill in the Hotel Reservation Form as attached on Page 3, and fax or email it to us.
Should any participants want to stay other places other than Nobel Hotel or Changchun Overseas Chinese Hotel, please also inform us of the hotel name for the meeting management purpose.
4. Passport and Visas:
Any foreign visitor entering China must possess a valid passport, bearing an entry visa issued by a Chinese Consular Office. We would like to ask participants who need to apply visa to send to Tumen Secretariat their passport details, including Date of Birth, Passport No., Date and Place of Issue, and Dates of Issuance and Expiry.
5. Time Zone:
Changchun is 8 hours ahead of GMT.
6. Voltage:
Electric power is supplied at 220 volts.
7. Climate:
Changchun’s temperature during the meeting would be 18 to 25 C.

9. Official Language:
The meeting’s official language will be English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided for Chinese, Korean, Mongolian and Russian.
