The First Northeast Asia International Exhibition of Calligraphy, Painting and Photography successful kicked off on 31 Aug. in Northeast Arts Centre, Changchun, China, in the framework of the 5th China-Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo.

The Organizing Committee of the Exhibition was consisting of main Chinese culture and arts institutions such as China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chinese Artists Association.

The grand exhibition presented the most important work of famous artists from China, Russia, South Korea, Mongolia, DPRK and Japan.

The Exhibition plays an important role in promoting artistic and cultural exchanges and will establish a cooperative platform for cultural development in Northeast Asia, said Mr. Zhou Huaqi, Chief of the Northeast Arts Centre.

The Tumen Secretariat was invited to participate in the opening of the Exhibition.
